It's unfortunate that Black folks are QUICK to include everyone when everyone doesn't was us included. Time and time again, I've seen "Oh you're invited to the cookout" just because someone knew some proper AAVE, spoke Patois, or hit a dance with 100% accurately. Why are these invitations handed out so fast? Is it because we've collectively been taught that proximity to whiteness is one of the few good things we can achieve? It's baffling.

You should expect more from your "white allies" besides them knowing all the lyrics to Not Like Us.
